- Dressing with psoriasis: Knowing the types of fabrics you can wear is very helpful. Wool can cause itchiness, while softer fabrics like silk blends and cashmere are gentler to the skin.
- Relieving the itch for scalp psoriasis: If you have psoriasis on your scalp, do not start scratching it. Instead, try using shampoos that help with flaking, redness, and itching. Most of these shampoos contain coal tar, salicylic acid and menthol to relieve the itch.

- Be aware of psoriasis triggers: When does your psoriasis flare up? When you consume alcohol, smoke or feel stressed? Take note of what you are doing or situation you are in when the incident occurs. Being aware of your triggers will help you manage the symptoms and lead a normal life.
